Superinvestor (superinvestorclub.com) is a free website that republishes public data from SEC filings. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Nothing account-related. The site has no user accounts, no logins, and no payment processing. You can use every feature anonymously.

Email addresses, only if you subscribe. If you sign up for filing alerts or the digest, we store your email address, your alert preferences, and confirmation timestamps. We use a double opt-in: no email is sent to you regularly until you confirm. Emails are delivered through Resend, our email service provider. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from future sends.

Standard server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) records basic request logs such as IP address, user agent, and requested page. We use these for debugging and abuse prevention, not for profiling.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic: which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes IP addresses under Google's own privacy terms. We do not send it your email address or any other identity data, and we do not use it for advertising audiences. You can block analytics with common browser extensions or your browser's tracking protection; the site works fine without it.

Advertising

We may show ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Users in regions with consent requirements will be shown a consent prompt where required.

What we never do

Data retention and deletion

Subscriber records are kept while your subscription is active and deleted or anonymized after you unsubscribe. If you want your email removed entirely, use the unsubscribe link in any alert email; the removal is immediate.

Third-party services

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
